Meet Dr. Henry
Hi, my name is Dr Henry Konopnicki and I am an Australian-based health professional who is trained as a GP.
We recently implemented FamilyShare at our facility in Sandringham which has been extremely beneficial!
Family members have reported that it allows them to share special moments with their loved ones, and that it opens up levels of discovery, particularly when viewing personal photographs.
Our support workers are learning more about residents and find that it relaxes them more than usual, which is reducing carer burden by a small degree.
I can see how this will help customer acquisition with regulatory requirements and therefore fully endorse FamilyShare
Continuing research into limiting unnecessary medication
We are taking a stand against the unnecessary use of chemical restraint in aged care. We firmly believe that FamilyShare holds the key to non-medicinal first-line intervention for BPSD management. Given previous trial outcomes and anecdotal evidence, we believe that FamilyShare can be used as a non-medicinal first-line intervention for the management of BPSD (behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia).
We are actively investigating FamilyShare's potential in a BPSD management protocol. Our goal is to reduce medication administration rates in RACF and Nursing Home settings, ensuring alignment with the highest standards of best practice care.
Together, let's pave the way for a compassionate and effective approach to aged care. Join us on this journey towards a brighter future, one where our seniors receive the care and respect they truly deserve
